Clinical Supervision

Our Clinical Supervision programme provides multidisciplinary professionals with the skills and knowledge to provide clinical supervision within the workplace. Course details

Appropriate for multidisciplinary professionals, including those registered with various governing bodies including the NMC, HCPC and GPhC.

On completion of the programme, professionals will be able to:

  1. Review key elements of Clinical Supervision, supported by the current academic evidence base.
  2. Discuss the roles and expectations of both the Supervisor and Supervisee, with insight into reflection models to support implementation.
  3. Evaluate models of Clinical Supervision and understand effective practical application.
  4. Examine the legal, regulatory and professional frameworks for Clinical Supervision, with focus on responsibility and accountability implications.
  5. Feel competent and confident to apply the theoretical principles to deliver clinical supervision in practice.
