Pay Incentive for Nursing

Earn an extra £100 at Southampton General Hospital 

December - Terms and Conditions 

  • Applicable to all shifts worked under these codes ASP07, ASP08, RN04, RN07, and RN08. 
  • Eligible shifts must be worked on a ward or clinical area (shifts at Vaccine hubs will not be included in the incentive). 
  • Clinical staff who hold an honorary contract with the Trust who are registered with the bank will be eligible and treated as a bank-only workers. 
  • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 1st and 31st December to qualify for payment. 
  • Bank only and Bank Exclusive contract holders need to work a minimum of 12 shifts between 1st and 31st December to qualify for payment. 
  • Eligible shifts run from Monday to Saturday Late shifts only– all Sunday shifts are excluded. 
  • Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 5 hours. 
  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e. night shifts should not be split into two. 
  • Only shifts worked at a University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust site will qualify  
  • All shifts must be authorised and released by 9th January 2022 to qualify. 
  • Bonus payment will be made on 21st January 2022. 

 

Any shifts that have been worked and have received the Bonus of £50 CSW00 and £100 RN00 will not qualify for this incentive.
