December Incentives

  

£400 Nursing and Midwifery & AHP Incentive

We are delighted to announce that Livewell SouthWest will be running an incentive with bonuses available for Nursing & Midwifery and Allied Health Professional shifts worked through NHSP at Livewell SouthWest in December.

 

Terms and Conditions:

  • All Nursing & Midwifery and AHP codes Bands 2-7 are eligible across all wards except North, East, South and West Community District nursing teams, Plym Bridge House, Harford ward, Bridford ward, PICU prevention, Cotehele ward (See Substantive T&C’s below for these locations) 

  • Multi post holders (substantive Trust staff) will need to work 6 bank shifts between the 1st and 31st December 2022 to qualify for payment.

  • Bank-only contract holders need to work a minimum of 12 shifts between 1st and 30th September to qualify for the payment.

  • Incentive payments can be paid multiple times, for example, if double the number of shifts detailed above are worked in a month, the worker would receive a payment of £800 (pre-tax).

  • All shifts from Monday to Sunday are eligible, including twilights so long as the worked hours are a minimum of 5 hours and 29 minutes, not including breaks.

  • Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 5 hours 29 minutes.

  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e. night shifts should not be split.

  • Self-Isolation shifts will not count towards the incentive.

  • Bank shifts worked within 48 hours of sickness absence will not qualify for the incentive.

  • Only shifts worked at Livewell Southwest will qualify however colleagues from UHP and NDHT working bank shifts at Livewell will qualify under the bank share agreement.


Please note: The Livewell Incentive is a separate incentive to the University Hospitals Plymouth Incentive. Eligible shifts cannot be combined between the 2 organisations.

 

Release and Payment Dates for the Monthly incentive;

October incentive release and payment dates:
Shifts must be released by 6th November 2022 to qualify.
Bonus payment will be made on 18th November 2022.

 

November incentive release and payment dates:
Shifts must be released by 11th December 2022 to qualify.
Bonus payment will be made on 23rd December 2022.

 

December incentive release and payment dates:
Shifts must be released by 8th January 2023 to qualify.
Bonus payment will be made on 20th January 2023.

 

 

 

Livewell Southwest are also continuing the incentive for shifts worked at Plym Neuro Unit, Mount Gould Hospital.  You will receive a payment of £66 per shift worked in December 2022.

 

Terms and Conditions:

  • Available for any Nursing & Midwifery or Allied Health Professional shift worked at the Plym Neuro Rehab unit at Mount Gould Hospital from 1st December up to, and including, 31st December 2022.

  • Shifts worked at the Plym Neuro rehab unit will not count towards the monthly Livewell £400 incentive.

  • All shifts from Monday to Sunday are eligible, including twilights so long as the worked hours are a minimum of 5 hours and 29 minutes, not including breaks.

  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e., night shifts should not be split to count as two.

  • Colleagues from UHP and NDHT working bank shifts at Plym Neuro will qualify under the bank share agreement.

  • Shifts must be released by 8th January 2023 to qualify

  • Bonus payment will be made on 20 th January 2023.
