We are pleased to inform you that NHS Professionals (NHSP), in partnership with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital has increased your pay in line with AFC. This increase will take effect on the 9th January 2023 and will be reflected in your pay for relevant shifts.
The pay rise has been backdated from April 2022 In lieu of back pay and in recognition of the valued work you have undertaken for us,
These new rates also do not apply if you have a Personalised Pay Rate -a rate that is personal to you. In addition, these rates do not apply to non-standard shifts (such as Programmed Activity/ Enhanced rates).
NHSP has started processing backpay on a Trust-by-Trust basis, and any payments relating to work at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital will be made on Friday 27th January 2023. Please ensure that all shifts worked between 1st April 2022 to 8th January 2023 are released by Sunday 15th January 2022.
Please note due to system constraints if there are no shifts released to be paid on Friday 27th January 2023, unfortunately, the one-off-payment will not show on your payslip in my bank. However, this can be viewed by downloading the MYSBSPay app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you will need to use the email address that you have on file with NHSP to register (this is the email address you use to log in to MyBank).
This payment is subject to tax and national insurance deductions in the normal way and will include an uplift for holiday pay accrued during the same period.
Thank you for your continued support working on the Bank and for your commitment to patient care in the NHS.
