Occupational Health Nurse

Occupational Health Nurse (1 x RN required) 

30+ hours per week 

Shifts available over 4 or 5 days (Mon – Fri) 

Location: Sunderland Royal Hospital / South Tyneside District Hospital 

Venepuncture Training 

Shifts lasting approximately 6 weeks 

This role is suitable for Registered Nurses that are confident giving vaccinations and would like to support the trust in helping all new Trust staff through recruitment during this busy time. The successful person(s) will be providing a vital service reducing waiting times and clearing the current backlog.

Dialysis Team Health Healthcare Assistant (1 x HCAs required) 

Starting January ‘22 

Full Time (37.5hrs) 

Shifts available Monday – Sunday 

0700 – 1500, 1230 - 2030 

Base: Sunderland Royal Hospital 

Shifts until 30th April 2022 

This role is suitable for healthcare assistants that have their own vehicle with business insurance and would like to support the Trust in delivering at home Dialysis services. 

Duties will include supporting the Dialysis Assistant with driving, helping discard rubbish, taking and documenting vital signs: BP and weight. 

There are opportunities for staff progression by training how to carry out Peritoneal Dialysis therapy within the patient’s home. Permanent posts may be available in the near future.
