Occupational Health Healthcare Assistant (2 x HCAs required)
24+ hrs per week
Shifts available Monday – Friday (0900 - 1700)
Location: Sunderland Royal Hospital and South Tyneside District Hospital
Shifts until 31st March 2022
This role is suitable for healthcare assistants that aretrained in phlebotomy and would like to support the trust in helpingall new Trust staff through recruitment during this busy time. The successful person(s) will be providing a vital service reducing waiting times and clearing the current backlog.
Please note the department requires someone that can commit to working 24+ hours each week so please only get in touch if you can meet this requirement.

Diabetic Screening Programme (3 x HCAs required)
2 days per week
Monday – Friday (0830 – 1630)
Location: The Glen / Cleadon Park Primary Care Centres
The One-Stop Diabetic Screening Clinics also requires three phlebotomy-trained healthcare assistants that are able to work two days a week to help the programme reduce some of its current backlog. Knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage but support and training can be provided if not.
