We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwives to join the Flexible Bank at Nottingham University Hospitals.

Skills and responsibilities:

In order to apply for a post you MUST have a minimum of 6 months experience in working in the role in an acute hospital environment within the last 2 years.

  • We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 registered Midwives to work Bank shifts in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Maternity Unit.
  • You will work within a team to promote and provide high quality maternity care and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • You will be required to have an in date CTG and Neonatal Rhesus certificates

 

The post holder will:

  • Maintain care records and other relevant documentation adhering to record keeping guidelines
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Maintains best practice ensuring compliance with evidence based practice and research
  • Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing patient care and ensuring that the best quality of patient care is maintained whilst respecting patients’ personal dignity and beliefs.
  • Maintain a safe care environment in the ward/ department with particular reference to infection control and the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and other staff.
