Band 6 – pay rates: £17.79 - £28.46

Full Time, 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 17:00pm

 

We are looking for imaginative and determined Band 6 Registered Nurses with mental health experience to work at G Block, Bury St Edmunds.

This includes support for children and their families, adolescents, working age and older adults, and individuals with a learning disability. We provide clinical interventions to address complex mental health needs, as well as certain specialist difficulties such as ADHD and autism. We have a range of qualified and experienced clinicians including doctors, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, support workers, psychologists and psychological therapists.

 

Duties will include:

  • A mixture of direct clinical work, care coordination, groups and team working
  • Managing your own caseload
  • Deliver a wide range of evidence based individual and group interventions
  • Analysing and thinking about what a young persons needs are and if they need input from a secondary service
  • Building rapport with young people

 

Successful applicants will:

  • Have at least 6 months hospital experience completed in the last 2 years as a Permanent, Agency or Bank General/Adult Nurse in a UK Private Hospital, UK Prison or within an NHS or UK Private Mental Health Community Setting
  • Have valid NMC registration
  • Knowledge and demonstration of the use of evidence based care
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of record keeping
  • Psychologically minded
